Black Boys Summer BootCamp
Our scholars come to this program with a gamut of challenging and unstable backgrounds that have disrupted educational and general adult development, progress and experiences. The Nana’s Scholars program has a ‘meet them where they are’ mentality and a passion for breaking down barriers on behalf of the scholars to set them up for success. Emphasis is placed on assisting all students with special needs in navigating college (college and career readiness or career path), providing supportive coaching in content tailored to each student’s unique needs, cheerleading scholar victories, and keeping scholars engaged.

We started July 6 - 29, 2021. It was a great success! We are continuing this program by adding a group of boys to our Nana's Scholars Saturday school from 10 am - 12 noon every Saturday. The Nana's Scholars Saturday school has girls and boys from Kg-12th grade. It is one-on-one tutoring of the basic needs and advanced needs of the children we serve. The cost to tutor each child with professionally certified teachers is $300.00 each month or $75.00 weekly. We are asking you to support the 10 students who have continued in this program for one year, totaling $25,200.00.
